All opinions are my own. How is your challenge going? If you remember last month we challenged ourselves to do 50% more of something. Maybe it’s drinking 50% more water each day, increasing your weekly workouts by 50%, waking up earlier everyday so you can be 50% more productive, or reading 50% more instead of watching television. Were you able to make some changes? My challenge isn’t going as well as I had hoped. The few days it has been nice this month I’ve had other commitments. I’m looking forward to April and another opportunity to get outside more with the kids. There is not a thing more simplistic in this world than a good cup of tea. Steeped to perfection in a dainty cup you can take it to the quietest spot in the house and just enjoy the moment. I love to sip my tea by the kitchen window or on the tiny little balcony outside my bedroom. I absolutely plan to do this today after our Simple Daily Challenges.

Three Simple Tasks: Empty out all the trash cans in the house. That is it, and when you are finished please enjoy a bit of tea or a nice glass of crisp, cold water. Tagged as: Chores. Live intentionally. Amy Volk - Live Better. This was the post I wrote that was featured on KludgyMom last week.

Talking to your teens about sex starts way before the teen years. I never had a conversation about sex growing up. I don’t even think we talked about periods, pregnancy, or boys, for that matter, so everything felt like a mystery to me. And a dirty one at that, but I was curious and had these feelings I didn’t know what to do about. So, I experimented and got into situations I didn’t want to be in and found myself with a pile of regret in my teen years. And you can bet that these experiences shaped my stance as a parent when it comes to talking to my own kids about sex and body image and feelings. It’s safe to say that in our current world, kids are introduced to sex, in some version, much earlier than we want them to be. 1. Loving My NestLoving My Nest. Clean & Scentsible. Are you a Google Adsense user? It's Google's pay-per-click ad platform for publishers. It looks at the content on your site and shows text or image ads targeted to that content. When you create an ad in Google Adsense, you'll go through all the steps to define a size, text or image or both, choose a color scheme, etc. Then at the end, you have the option to add it to a "channel". Now, when I first started blogging I had no clue what a channel was. But, when I learned what channels really were, I got excited that I could actually know which ads were performing! So, how do you use Google Adsense channels to track the performance of your ad?

Create a channel with a name that will help you remember what ad location this is. If you're tracking a sidebar ad, call it something like "sidebar, first position" or "sidebar, second position". From there, you can watch your ads to see how they perform. How Do I Start a Blog? – Guide by Jessica Knapp (updated March 24th 2016) So, you want to start a blog huh?
