WIS : An Even Greater Movie
Happy Independence Day Finland. There’s no point to this. I just wanted to make a comic that had Finland, Sweden and Åland’s characters bouncing off each other. This comic could have gone on forever, but I had to restrain myself. Nordic Halloween - Humon Comics

Daisy Owl - Get Involved
Arguing with true believers of any particular creed, myth, or ideal requires monumental patience and mental fortitude. That, or impotent rage and a serious masochistic streak. You could always just slam your head repeatedly into a wall, it might be less painful in the end. I generally find it’s not even worth bothering with, these days. Either people converse with the understanding that the participants are willing to admit when they’re wrong and accept new information that might change their point of view, or you might as well just speak to inanimate objects.
You still have a chance to win a signed copy of the new edition of Off to Be the Wizard (Magic 2.0) . In addition to that book, the prize package will also include the Basic Instructions 2014 Box Calendar , and a signed copy of a book by a different author.
I thought I’d post some photos from when I was making the We’re Out comics. If you were interested to know how it was made, these might provide a bit of an insight. Before I even finished writing the story, I took a lot of test photos and put together a few test comics to make sure I could actually do a comic with 3D models. Here’s one of the test comics. The techniques I figured out at this test stage were the same ones I used for the whole story, but in the final comics I made the panels less crazily angled. I took this test photo at my mum’s house.
''It's not MY fault I downloaded programming that made me this way!'' Personally, I can’t wait to be replaced by a robot. Not because I’m lazy, but because I really can’t wait to see robot engineered jokes. Could you imagine? The cold, mechanical, laser-precision robot sense of humor aimed all-attack-systems-go directly at the human funny bone? It will kill us dead!
Sometimes while I’m drawing, I leave a chat room up that has a ‘grab the mic and talk’ feature. It’s like listening to a podcast between a couple dozen people. Over the last week or two, one of the regulars of that chat room (who goes by DarlingNadia) has been stressing over the fact that her and her seven year old daughter are facing eviction.
Tuesday, April 15 — 2:00 PM Sorry about this comic running a bit late. But hey, the first-ever Advance Wars appearance in BitF, and I have the eShop to thank for it. Yes, 2013′s Fire Emblem: Awakening showed me how enjoyable strategy games could be, so I had to try out AW myself upon hearing that it hit the VC. It’s good fun, and surprisingly dense in content.
