Out of no where a new Kanye West song titled “Theraflu” has dropped. Hot 97′s Funkmaster Flex played the new track which features DJ Khaled. Hit-Boy , the producer behind “Niggas In Paris” produced the song. Kanye dives into his relationships, bringing up Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa, Kim Kardashian and of course Mr.Et Musique Pour Tous

Unfortunately I missed The Men when they played Bug Jar last week. With my birthday last Saturday, I was just too busy to make it work, but I made it up to them in part by purchasing their debut album on vinyl on Sunday. I hadn’t listened to it before hearing their solid new album, Open Your Heart , but I loved the energy and brashness that one displayed. And then, I we got word in our inbox that the band was releasing another new song, this one called “A Minor.” Their label, Sacred Bones, is releasing a compilation in conjunction with Record Store Day, and “A Minor” is a part of that release.

Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeroes, the indie-folk sensation that brought us “Home”, are back with a new single today titled “That’s What’s Up”- a track that from start to finish soundtracks the summer season before it has even begun. Je me souviens… c’était mes premières années de fac, mes potes de mon étage en cité U à Luminy (Marseille) passaient chez moi (j’avais une vieille tv dans ma chambre) pour une bonne demi heure de rigolade ! La personnalité de Nagui , la façon qu’il avait d’animer, avaient mis aux oubliettes tous les autres jeux télévisés ! Nous étions accros car nous savions qu’il allait se passer quelque chose, à chaque émission, avec au moins un des candidats ! Deux cent candidats au départ, des questions (QCM) de culture générale… Et les dix qui tiennent le coup, et les plus rapides à répondre, arrivaient en deuxième manche. Même principe pour la deuxième manche … il ne doit en rester qu’un.

En attendant, je l'éspère, de pouvoir la retrouver dans le Wik, lors d'un prochain passage sur Tahiti.

It’s here! Despite the questionable but apparently easily profitable decision to extend Coachella to 2 weekends with identical lineups (a feat I doubted could ever actually take place), the multi-weekend Coachella festival is upon us. This is my third consecutive Coachella and likely my last as it’s just too expensive to get there from the Midwest and in my slightly older age I’ve taken to exploring the more boutique festivals out there (a la ATP fests, etc). Our crew has expanded once again to 9 people and we’ve built in a THIRD day of relaxation by the pool, but thanks to the most interesting forecast, we will likely have to spend that first pool day in the hot tub. Which I’m totally OK with. For the third year in a row, I’m too lazy to even change the pictures, and have only made slight modifications to this guide, and I’ve never actually camped at Coachella so all of the camping advice is non-Coachella specific, but still valuable, I think.

I posted the original Blue Jeans for you just so you could tell the difference between the remixes. First off is the Gesaffelstein , wasn’t very liked on Hype but I thought the remix was amazing.
