http://blog.lightgreyartlab.com/2013/01/call-for-art-macro-micro.html Nature! Hey! We have a new call for art! Finally!
Eyes are the windows to the soul but to nail a portrait you’ve also got to get the frames, bricks, door and drainpipes right. We asked a range of artists how to draw a good face… Wherever possible, draw from life http://www.ideastap.com/ideasmag/the-knowledge/how-to-draw-faces

I’m not a look-alike! O resultado é incrível!

This is all kinds of cool, and everything your mother told you not to do. Bryan Lewis Saunders is an artist from Washington D.C., not just any artist though. Saunders prefers to take a more unconventional approach to his artwork. Arguably his most interesting project, entitled DRUGS is described as follows:

What rates should a graphic designer charge?

http://robcubbon.com/what-rates-should-a-graphic-designer-charge/ One of the questions I get asked the most by clients and other designers alike is about (surprise, surprise) money. So what is the hourly rate for a graphic designer? Ahh, there’s the question. If you’re fresh out of college, I would say (and don’t blame me if you can’t pay off your loans) around about £9-12 ($14.50-$20) an hour. If you’ve got a few (3 to 6) years agency experience under your belt and a nice looking portfolio I would say you should ask for £18-£25 ($30-$40) per hour. If you’ve been hard at it for years and have a few regular clients under your belt it starts to get more complicated.
I've been having a love affair with bird motifs since many years now, so my heart skipped a beat when I saw a flock of birds' tattoo for the first time. I've been collecting them since then. I know bird tattoos are currently super trendy, but I love them anyway! As far as I'm concerned, I'm not ready for a tattoo (I have a VERY low tolerance to pain), so as an alternative, I opted for temporary transfer tattoos!

Oh the lovely things: Inspiration : bird tattoos + DIY temporary tattoos
