I found this website and LOVE it!! I decided to come up with my own sugar scrub and i use it every other day and I love it. It keeps my skin soft and itch free!! 2 cups white sugar1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil( more or less depends how grainy you like it)1/2 tbs lemon juice1 tbs honey1 teaspoon cinnamon Mix well and keep in fridge, use in shower. Coffee, Brown sugar, and olive oil scrub by Holly (Washington State) 1/2 cup coffee beans1/2 cup brown sugar1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil Grind up coffee beans until they are super fine. NOTE:I let my mixture sit for about 3 hours so the coffee grounds could soak up the oil.* I also had tiny little coffee flecks after I rinsed so I used my washcloth with a little Aveeno soap to wash the leftovers away. Perfect Iced Coffee. Iced coffee is my life.
When I wake up, often around the time party animals on the west coast are just heading home, I start each day not with a cup of freshly brewed hot java, but with a tall, blessed glass of creamy iced coffee in a glass. I’ve been an iced coffee freakazoid for years and years. To say I couldn’t live without it is an understatement. It gives me the tools I need to cope. Iced coffee is a complicated thing, and there are many different approaches. 1. Given the previous set of facts, one would assume that the logical solution would be to brew hot coffee, then transfer the brew to the fridge, allow it to cool, and use it to make iced coffee from there. There are reasons this method results in a smoother, richer, more delicious concentrate than simply brewing strong coffee and refrigerating it. Search results for hairstyles. I featured Hair Romance, my favorite go-to source for all things hair related, about a year ago, when Christina, the creative editor, talented hands and gorgeous hair behind Hair Romance launched her first ebook with over 30 hairstyles with tutorials (that post can still be read here).
In a nutshell, Hair Romance is all about loving your hair and having fun with it. Hair Romance breaks the trends down into easy hair tutorials, shares hair product styling advice, and much more. In September, Christina started a new hairstyle challenge - 30 braids in 30 days! She created 30 new braided looks, one each day. They can all be seen on her blog, and they are all amazing. The ebook features step by step picture tutorials as well as full written instructions for every day of the 30 day hairstyle challenge, with specific tips and ideas of variations.
Classy & Modern Gold Glitter Half Moon Tutorial (inspired by The Boys - Girls' Generation) Hair Romance — Love Your Hair. PIN IT UP, GIRL. Our email box is literally flooded with requests for updos so here’s a fun one to get us all going!
This is always a favorite for attending an event. This updo looks gorgeous on any hair color but particularly amazing with hilighted hair because it gives the hair lots of depth and dimension. For lack of a better word, I love the way it becomes “swirly”. Best thing is; it’s easy to do, gorgeous and keeps your hair out of your way for the night. I made this a printable tutorial, so all of the steps are next to the photos. Tools you’ll need: curling iron (to prep the hair with waves), sectioning clips, teasing comb or brush, clear elastic rubber band, bobby pins, light to medium holding hairspray (to mist over at the end).
My Showroom - StyleMint. Dorm Room Spa: 3 Easy DIY Beauty Recipes to Try. Photo Credit It’s that taxing in-between time of the semester again – spring break is over, papers and projects are coming due, and finals are looming ahead.
It’s clear that college students are stressed right now, and with that stress comes the need for relaxation. And what better way to unwind than by pampering yourself and indulging in some me-time? Of course, as college students, we can’t all afford to shell out for a trip to a high-end spa. So how do you get all the benefits of a spa treatment without the hefty cost? 1. Photo Credit. Red Velvet Rice Krispies Treats Hearts for Valentine’s Day.
You may have noticed I share a lot of Rice Krispies Treats, especially around the holiday.
Can you blame me though? They’re sweet, gooey and oh-so-good! And these red velvet treats are to die for! Had it not been for my kiddos little sweet happy fingers, I wouldn’t have found the restraint to not eat them all. If you’re making these to just eat, no need to get fancy but if you’re making them for a special occasion like Valentine’s Day, you’ll want to check out Wilton’s selection of cookie cutters. In a small jelly roll pan you can press the treats thin enough to cut with the heart shaped cutters. With a piping bag (or plastic sandwich bag) you can frost these with pretty designs in a cream cheese frosting that makes them even sweeter. Share ‘em, eat ‘em, whatever you do, don’t leave them unattended and expect to find anything left but crumbs left over.
