How to Email Busy People (and Not Be Annoying) If you want to get in touch with influential people (aka: BUSY people), you need to know how to email them. I am Style-ish: Shoe Love. As I mentioned last week, I'll be doing a weekly series of style posts with Intel written on my latest must have accessory, the Ultrabook and this week is on my favorite topic, SHOES! I recently got a few new pairs so had to share... You may have seen these on instagram (follow me @tiffanyish) or facebook already... My new jelly shoes! I actually tried these on at the Ferragamo store in the Beijing airport but I didn't get them. I went home and searched and Zappos had them and they were on sale! Thankfully, China did not block me from shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary early access sale! And just a few of my current faves: I'm still completely in love with my Chanel cap toes. My glitter Louboutins always kick up any outfit a notch.
My husband and I like to buy shoes for our nephew because he's so dang cute. And just like my nephew, my ultrabook can run for hours! Now you don’t have to sacrifice beauty for power. Sexy Shoes, Shopping and Style. The best gift is often the ones we buy ourselves. Not to be unappreciative, but I love shopping way too much to believe someone (even with list in hand) could ever do it as well as I do. When buying for ourselves, shopping can be a high. I’ll admit I’m addicted, but don’t think I have a problem. I know I know, the first step on the road to recovery is to admit you have a problem, but I just don’t see it that way. I’m content being a shoeaholic, and wouldn’t have it any other way. But on to the shoes!
Like this black suede boot from Diane Von Furstenberg. If price were no object, I might go for the incredible looking Skyscraper Shoe by Vivienne Westwood. “Cause visual vertigo and watch others swoon over the arousing architectural allure.” I’m a huge fan of L.A.M.B. and thought the ‘Peppa’ looked kinda spicey! Sometimes a shoe that’s more sexy and flirty or more fun than the more practical. Still missing from my closet is a pair from Giuseppe Zanotti, which makes me a little sad. I just wandered over to Facebook, and was doing my this and that, and then I noticed a little ad in the right hand side (if you can’t see this, click here): The ad is simple. But what caught my attention was the really colorful pie chart, and then “The Guy Who Wrote The Google Analytics Book.” To me, this was quite the authority call-out. I thought, “Well, I guess I can’t do a lot better than that, now can I?”
This takes me to Appsumo’s site, where they don’t let me in unless I give them my email address. Now, this should stop some people. Just your email address, nothing fancy = I trust you because you’re not really asking me for much. Once inside, the yummy gets even better. Success. And then at the bottom, we get this: This Is the New Sales Page You can count the ways this is awesome. This is the new sales page. Okay, that’s not entirely all.
