Fall Wedding Ideas from Sara Gray Photography
I love fall weddings, especially when there are unique and fun autumn elements that are outside of the traditional norm. This fabulous inspiration shoot from Lisa Martin Bloomsberry Floral and Sara Gray Photography brings a modern spin to the fall wedding, showcasing a color palette of vivid orange and yellow paired with kraft paper brown, and fun and unique details including a beer and nut bar, apple place cards, and a recycled beer bottle centerpiece! The beautiful models show off two bridal looks – one classic and one soft and playful, and what better accessory for bridesmaids than bright yellow Hunter boots?Science Themed Wedding Inspiration

We all know that’s what details are all about, and when I was talking to Staci of Unique Event Design about personalized wedding details one day, we started talking about how cool a wedding between two people who met in science class would be!Real Weddings | Martha Stewart Weddings
Instead of one large wedding cake, Maria and Robert offered a number of seasonal choices for guests at their reception in Sunriver, Oregon. A square layered tiramisu decorated with Lady apples dipped in caramel and chocolate was served along with a chocolate sour-cream pound cake with raspberry filling, miniature cupcakes with apricot filling and topping, and a round layered spice cake with cream-cheese frosting. More from This Real Wedding

Today’s lovely Inspired Creations Contest idea is perfect for the shabby chic bride! The Nashville team of Cedarwood Weddings and Kristyn Hogan created a warm, cozy atmosphere with a glamorous side using a whitewashed color palette and burlap accents. All of the vintage mismatched candlesticks were thrifted and painted in an antique white to create a sea of white candlelight for the romantic centerpiece and mantel. The floral was kept simple (and budget-friendly!) with a unique baby’s breath arrangement, and the mirrors on the walls accentuate the shimmer and sparkle of the candles and add a pretty, antique feel to the setting. And don’t even get me started on the fabulous cake.

Ok, so just so you know, today’s feature makes my heart beat so far out of my chest that it jogs up my sternum and slaps me in the face with my aorta. (I should note here that my aorta’s a bitch. She face slaps with an intensity and meaning that cannot be explained without first welcoming into my life a belief in reincarnation, and then accepting that souls can come back as aortas.

Today's wedding of Emily and Kirk in Newport Beach, California is absolutely gorgeous with it's shades of green and grey - which are carried thru the entire wedding with the use of succulents, from the brides bouquet to the reception centerpieces {which were made with love by Emily's mother} . Paired with the succulents were sand dollars and sea shell details. The beautiful photographs were taken by Heidi Ryder Photography and Heidi wrote . . . "It was a sweetly emotional day and it was obvious Emily and Kirk were so excited to become husband and wife." Chad and Annette just celebrated their two year anniversary last month (Congratulations!!), so I thought it would be the perfect time to feature their lovely fall wedding. Details include bow ties, lace, a classy town car, white pumpkins, and a pink and white color palette that reminds me so much of Christine’s inspiration board from last week.

Escort cards are becoming more popular in the UK, but already used a lot in America. They are a great alternative to the Table Plan as they can be used more creatively and often double up as fabulous forms of decoration and always a great way to tie in your wedding theme. Instead of having a table plan telling your guests where they are sitting for the wedding breakfast, the escort cards are a fun little card in what ever format you want it to be, which has the guest’s name on the front of the card and the table number they are sitting on, on the back of the card……..what could be simpler! place names can then be coordinated if you wish with the escort cards, or tied in with the menus. I have been looking for some examples of escort cards and got a bit carried away.

I am thrilled this morning to share an absolutely gorgeous and love-filled wedding by the incredibly talented Kimberly Kay Photography . Kimberly is so no stranger to BT&B– you may remember her from this Oregon Golf Club wedding , this intimate Sun River wedding , or this snowy engagement shoot (if you haven’t seen them yet, go check them out!) Kimberly and her husband Chris never cease to amaze me with each and every wedding and engagement they shoot, and Christina and Aaron’s stunning Gorge Crest Vineyard wedding is no exception! The location provided breathtaking views of the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood, and Hood River Valley. Read on to hear about the all of the lovely details, straight from Kimberly!
