Interliner performance As a general rule, all outer covers must be match resistant, passing the match test described in Schedule 5 Part 1 of the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations, published in the UK in 1988. Whenever an interliner has been incorporated to allow the use of non match-resistant covers, it is important that this is reflected in the wording on the permanent label.
