Multforcers (Brute Force Cracking) The Cryptohaze Multiforcer is a high performance multihash brute forcer with support for per-position character sets, and very good performance scaling when dealing with large hash lists.

Multforcers (Brute Force Cracking)

As an example, on a list of 10 hashes, the Cryptohaze Multiforcer achieves 390M steps per second on a GTX260/216SP@1.24ghz card. On a list of 1.4 million hashes with the same card, performance drops to 380M steps per second. This is the password stepping rate - not the search rate. The search rate is 380M * 1.4M passwords per second! Advanced password recovery. PasswordOne : des rem?des ? vos mots de passe ! - Accueil. WPA Wordlist Download - 13GB. Ok, we have a nice name for the program, so I will have to spend some time to make it work as it is named. Right now on nVidia 9600GT/C2D 3Ghz CUDA version does 350 M keys/sec, SSE2 version does 108 M keys/sec. You may check benchmarks of all known good MD5 bruteforcers here. Notes: CUDA MD5 Hashing Experiments. I implemented two modes of operation.

Notes: CUDA MD5 Hashing Experiments

The first, MD5 calc, uses the GPU to quickly compute MD5 hashes given a (potentially large) dictionary of words. The computed hashes are stored to global device memory, and later transferred to the host. In my tests, I used a ~2M word "dictionary" (made by running the LaTeX source of one of my astrophysics papers through sed; see wordlist.txt in the source tarball). The second, MD5 search, uses the GPU to search for a given MD5 hash in the dictionary. Similarly to MD5 calc, it computes the MD5 hash of each word in the dictionary, but then compares it to the target MD5 and sets a found flag in case of a match. Here are a few results of running the code in both modes:
