Œuvres[modifier | modifier le code] John Berryman publie sa première œuvre, intitulée Poems, en 1942 pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, et sa deuxième, Dispossessed, six ans plus tard. Sa première œuvre majeure, Homage to Mistress Bradstreet, paraît en 1956. C'est cependant la série de recueils des Dream Songs, débutée en 1964, qui recueille le plus de succès auprès du public et de la critique. John Berryman.
