Amy Toensing has been a professional photographer since 1994. She has provided content for The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and National Geographic. She has traveled around the world, shooting stories across Australia, India, Africa, Puerto Rico, the island of Tonga, and at home in the United States.

Amy looks into the lives of ordinary people, and with her camera, finds something special. She is currently working on her 13th story for National Geographic in Australia.
