Murray Photography sent along. It’s all about thinking of the wedding festivities from the perspectives of the little ones involved, and it’d be so perf for a couple that has special kiddos playing a role in the festivities. Who doesn’t want to see their flower girls’ smiling faces when they realize they get to dress up and celebrate just like the bride?

Paper Record Player Makes for the Coolest Wedding Invitation Ever. Artist and designer Kelli Anderson was asked to design a wedding card for her friends Karen and Mike.

Paper Record Player Makes for the Coolest Wedding Invitation Ever

As it turns out, Karen happens to be a lawyer who DJs at night, and Mike is a Grammy-nominated sound engineer. So what happens when you combine those three elements? A super awesome paper record player. The retro-style invitation was inspired by the old 50s TV show Mr. Wizard, according to Anderson. Anderson designed the card such that when you fold the page correctly, it acts as a kind of tonearm that lands directly on top on the record. Not invited to the wedding? :) :) :) part 1 of lynnette & james’ engagement shoot was so fun to shoot that planning a part 2 was definitely in order! (click HERE for the first round of images & the inspiring love story that goes along with them!) The vision for these was to recreate the more child-like scenes of the Disney Pixar movie “UP!” ; when ellie & carl first met, playing under a homemade tent together, dreaming of flying to paradise falls, working alongside each other at the zoo, painting their first mailbox and then them just playing together! Lynnette & james, will you please let me shoot part 3 in 25 years?! Style Me Pretty : The Ultimate Wedding Blog. They were telling me that bride’s cousin owns this junkyard/old car shop since he’s an artist and uses scrap metal for sculptures but some of these vintage cars are just too sweet to be upcycled! The junkyard location has also been used for concerts before. Thanks so much Lindsey and April for sending over these images! Aimee and Jerry blended their family history delightfully by incorporating vintage elements and heirlooms that decorated their reception at the Smog Shoppe. The gorgeous details don’t stop there. No. The flower arrangements, which were made by Aimee’s mom and aunts were little masterpieces of love. I can’t decide if am more obsessed about the flower ties on the back of the chairs, or about how gorgeous her vintage wedding dress was (it was her grandmother’s, no less!) From the bride, Aimee: Our wedding was held in Los Angeles, which was a “destination wedding” for many of our family and friends, and it was held on a Thursday, so we knew we wanted to keep it fun and simple to maximize the time we had with our loved ones, and minimize stress levels.

From the bride, Aimee: Most of our wedding was DIY. I had a very difficult time finding a dress that I liked, so I ended up using my grandmother’s wedding dress.
