The most important thing to remember while interpreting any birth chart is: synthesis. The whole chart must be taken as a whole. A natal chart abounds with bits and pieces of information about an individual. Each separate bit must be synthesized into one whole picture of the person. What we mean is that you cannot take one piece of the chart (for example, Mercury in Sagittarius) and decide that it defines the entire person.

If you do that, you will, undoubtedly, be in error. The point, again (and this point will be repeated often), is that the entire chart must be blended together. It's as if each of us is a mosaic, made up of tiny individual images. Interpreting Planets in the Signs Look at the birth chart and take note of what sign and house each planet is in. Now you can look up the "Chart Interpretations" of each of your planets and Rising sign.

The zodiac sign will show how the planet is manifested. Incorporating the Astrological Houses Planet = What? Signs = the way you do it = “How” Affirmations. Truths Thought Wisdom. Mantra. Saṃsāra or Sangsāra (Sanskrit: संसार) (in Tibetan called 'khor ba (pronounced kɔrwɔ [IPA] in many Tibetan dialects), meaning "continuous flow"), is the repeating cycle of birth, life and death (reincarnation) within Hinduism, Buddhism, Bön, Jainism, Taoism,[1] and Yârsân. In Sikhism this concept is slightly different and looks at one's actions in the present and consequences in the present. Etymology and origin[edit] Saṃsāra means to perpetually wander, to pass through states of existence. Cycle of rebirth[edit] The concept of samsara is closely associated with the belief that the ignorant person continues to be born and reborn in various realms in the form of a human, animal, or other being (depending on karma).[9] Jainism maintains that one who accrues a significant amount of bad karma can also be reborn as a plant or even as a rock,[10] and similar concepts can be found in Purāṇas, in the Bhagavadgītā, in the Manusmṛti[11] and in similar texts.

The Bodhisattva vow is the vow taken by Mahayana Buddhists to attain complete enlightenment for the sake of all sentient beings. One who has taken the vow is nominally known as a Bodhisattva. Whereas the Prātimokṣa vows cease at death, the Bodhisattva vow extends into future lives. There are two traditions of the Bodhisattva vow, one originating from Asanga and the other from Nagarjuna. Taking the Bodhisattva vow[edit] A Bodhisattva vow is found at the end of the Avatamsaka Sutra by Samantabhadra. Just as all the previous Sugatas, the Buddhas Generated the mind of enlightenment And accomplished all the stages Of the Bodhisattva training, So will I too, for the sake of all beings, Generate the mind of enlightenment And accomplish all the stages Of the Bodhisattva training.[1] The promise to keep bodhisattva vows applies not only to this life, but to each subsequent lifetime until enlightenment.

In Buddhism, especially in Tibetan Buddhism, each of five colors (pancha-varna) symbolizes a state of mind, a celestial buddha, a part of the body, a part of the mantra word Hum, or a natural element. (Blue and black are sometimes interchangeable.)

It is believed that by meditating on the individual colors, which contain their respective essences and are associated with a particular buddha or bodhisattva, spiritual transformations can be achieved (see the table below). Following is a table summarizing the meaning of the main color symbols in Buddhism. Click on the color name for a full article and examples of that color. (This article on general color symbolism continues below.)

In addition, there is the Buddhist concept of the "rainbow body," the penultimate transitional state of meditation in which matter begins to be transformed into pure light. Buddhist Scriptures: Chart of Pali Canon (Theravada) The world. Living with Purpose.

The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is a biblical term that sums up the nine visible attributes of a true Christian life written of by Paul in his Letter to the Galatians chapter 5. Though this references 9 attributes to the Fruit of the Spirit, the original Greek term translated as "fruit" is singular, signifying that there is one fruit with nine attributes. Throughout the Bible, the righteous are likened to trees,[Prov. 11:30] and in Galatians 5 Paul explains what fruit a righteous tree bears. Accordingly, this "fruit" is grown by those who have truly repented and become followers of Jesus.

[Matt. 3:8] It is arguable whether one who does not bear this fruit is truly a Christian. In John's account of the Gospel, Jesus said, "These things I command you, that you love one another",[John 15:17] referred to as the New Commandment or the second greatest commandment. Paul illustrates with these attributes the kind of love that marks a true Christian life: Love (Greek: agape, Latin: caritas)[edit] . I am thankful because... 26 Tips and Tricks To Simplify Life.
