If you were around or aware back in the days of the first 8 bit color Macintosh II, there was an amazing little program that took full advantage of the relatively limited 8 bit 256 color video capabilities. While flying toasters and hyperdrive powered star-field simulators dominated idle screens, FlowFazer emerged as an amazing achievement utilizing a unique pattern generator and the mac II's ability to cycle palette colors, resulting in something incredibly fluid and unlike anything else ever seen on a computer screen... it was simply mind blowing. These days we have IOS devices that can create amazing 3 dimensional swirling, exploding, chaotic and amazing visual effects no doubt. But, IMHO nothing moves quite like this app faithfully brought to you by the original author. While you may wish to touch and interact with the pattern itself, touch the screen to experiment with combination of the original settings and carefully crafted 256 color palettes. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/flowfazer/id507935335?mt=8

Without doubt, the genre that universally wastes the most time is racers. Depending on how well the game has been executed overall, you may or may not find yourself unknowingly playing for hours on end striving to get a few seconds better to improve your time or to finish in The name is probably the first thing that you notice about an application before all of the screenshots, the description and all that other jazz of the same sort.

Marc Liyanage - Software - Mac OS X Packages - PHP

This particular build of the module is for the Apache 2 web server provided by Apple in Mac OS X Leopard. It is built as Universal Binary for compatibility with both Intel and PPC systems. Note: you should always check the PHP section of the user forum too, new releases of this software are usually announced, tested and discussed there long before they are available on this page as stable builds. The distribution comes in a Mac OS X Installer package and is completely self-contained, there are no external dependencies beyond what is delivered by Apple in a regular Mac OS X installation. http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/

Installing XDebug 2 on Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard (with PHP 5.3) | TechnoSophos

A while back, I wrote an extensive article on installing XDebug on OS X with MAMP. Now that I have Snow Leopard, I am making a new attempt at working with XDebug on OS X. This article discusses working with XDebug 2.0 or greater on Mac OS 10.6 with PHP 5.3, as packaged with OS X. Continue on for step-by-step instructions. (For more notes on upgrading a PHP dev environment for Snow Leopard, read this article .) In the past, I have used MAMP because the PHP configuration with which OS X ships with is sub-par.
