The correct way to archive a Final Cut Pro X Project. So you've finished your edit in FCPX, how do you archive off a project for safe storage? In this new episode of MacBreak Studio we look at the correct way to make sure a project will come back to life in the future. The media manager in FCP7 was excellent. Well it was nearly excellent as there were a lot of things that it didn't copy over, but it did make a complete separate copy of whatever you wanted.

Now we are on FCPX, how do you archive a project without a built in Media Manager? Unfortunately we don't see a way of trimming clips, which isn't a problem if you are using a DSLR, but it is a problem if you handle streaming media.
