About Pepejeans : Pepe Jeans London was founded in 1973 at a stall in Portobello Market (London) where its founders, the Shah brothers, customised original jeans. A few years after their success, they bought several shops, becoming UK market leaders in the 1980s. Their international explorations were launched, first in the United States then Europe, where they quickly became one of the major jeans brands. The brand is now also present in Asia and Latin America and one of its main objectives is to continue expanding in these territories.

intro

{image by Marjon Hoogervorst from my boys in our Kuala Lumpur home} Lovely readers and online friends… yesterday I shared a post on Bloesem Living about why we moved to Singapore last week and I feel I have to post the words here too as many of you not always visit my other blog ... so this is what I had to say: " I feel I have not let you in on some, very exciting news I think…it has been so hectic these last couple of weeks or months actually that I really only now find the time to tell you more about this… in short – after having lived in KL for almost six years, we moved to Singapore – we only arrived last week so I consider myself lucky I have my internet connection sorted (almost…). Our move to Singapore fills me with both excitement and, I must admit, some sadness. Exciting because my new home-town is absolutely buzzing with creative vibes and is home to many of my online friends. http://bkids.typepad.com/intro/

Japanese kidswear « smudgetikka

http://www.smudgetikka.com/tag/japanese-kidswear/ I was just thinking that those lucky enough to go will have been at Playtime Tokyo this week and it reminded me of this label I found at Playtime Paris sharing a stand with the more established Japanese kidswear label Whip Cream. Funky Grow has the philosophy that their clothes should be cute and fun for both the child to wear and the adult to look at and feel good to wear too but will also be easy to care for. The fun comes through a lot in their photography as you can see below, they have a truly Japanese fashion flavour and I wish them well in the European market.
