With the Internet, universal access to education is possible, but its potential is hindered by increasingly restrictive copyright laws and incompatible technologies. We at Creative Commons work to minimize these barriers, by providing free licenses and tools that anyone can use to share their educational materials with the world. Our licenses make textbooks, courses, and lesson plans easy to find, easy to share, and easy to customize and combine — helping to realize the full benefits of digital and print educational resources. In addition to the planned 70+ units that District 287 trained teachers will be posting on MoodleShare, we are happy to say that additional participants have joined the project and will be providing another 60 units by the end of June 2011. This is a great step forward in content sharing. If you use any of this content at your schools they'd love to hear about it. Please let them know how you're using the content with your students.
What people are saying I use Gnowledge to teach the basics of French grammar, vocabulary and conjugations to my students and also to get their feedback and subsequent follow-ups. My students like using Gnowledge and it improves their learning ability. Gnowledge uses cutting-edge technology and innovative design to create collaborative genius in their test/quiz creation site. My daughter finds Gnowledge a fun way to do her assessment papers. I find it user-friendly, and fun way to give students homework and have recommended it to some of our students.
