What about you? As you know, I have a love for all things MONOGRAMMED! I have been wanting to make some monogrammed soap for quite a while now, but have been unsure about how to go about it. So the other day, I just thought I would do a test run and see what happened. Overall, I am happy with the turnout. Then I let my 3 year old carve my practice soap while I worked on one of “the real things”. Supplies: Cinderella Bridal Shoot & Love and Lavender. We love today’s post so much, we literally could not wait to share it with you!
The entire shoot was inspired by a vintage 1950′s wedding dress that one of the photographers, Jonda, found at a local bridal shop for a whopping $40!! With it’s layers of tulle and ruffles, it reminded her of a childhood fairy tale, so she started dreaming up a Cinderella-themed shoot. Her friend Emily Bartsch made the dream come to life with lots of sweet props that she hand-made, including coffee filter streamers, a drawerpull bouquet, and the cutest little felt mice! As a newlywed, I can't count how many times we had to do some "adjusting" to our wedding spending so we wouldn't completely destroy our agreed-upon wedding budget.
