George W. Swamped. Swamped! Is an interactive experience in which instrumented plush toys are used as a tangible, iconic interface for directing autonomous animated characters. Each character has a distinct personality and decides in real time what it should do based on its perception of its environment, its motivational and emotional state, and input from its "conscience," the guest.
By manipulating a stuffed animal corresponding to the character, the guest can influence how a given character acts and feels. For example, the guest could have the character wave at another character by waving its arm, make it squawk by squeezing it, or direct the character's attention by moving the stuffed animal's head. The characters incorporate a novel model of behavior and emotion, multi-target motion interpolation and new techniques for real time graphics.
By combining research in autonomous character design, automatic camera control, tangible interfaces and action interpretation, Swamped! More Info. NIKE MUSIC SHOE. Home Page| Professional CV| Academic CV| Research| Publications Sque ezables developed bySeum-Lim GAN andGil Weinberg The SQUeeZABLE has evolved from the early "Sea Slipper" version to the current Squeezable Jello Ball version which is a group of six soft balls filled with jello like material. The six jello balls are placed in the middle of a low table about 1.5 feet high. The jello balls can be lifted or pulled from the table and retractable. Since version 4, all squeezables can be played separately by more than one person making group play possible and also giving players with smaller hands to squeeze smaller squeezables rather than a large squeezable.
SQUeeZABLE Table/SQUeeZABLE Jello Balls The squeezable balls here are made of jello, wrapped in latex and decorated with cloth.
