Lexmark Introduces New Visix 2.0 Platform in Pro 715 and pro 915

Posted on 7th Nov 2011 @ 10:52 AM Lexmark announced a pair of new A4 inkjet all-in-ones, the Pro715 and Pro915, based on a new imaging system that the company has dubbed Vizix 2.0. Prior to the announcement, most of Lexmark’s current inkjets were based on its original Vizix platform, which features permanent print head and separate ink tanks and was introduced in 2009. Lexmark’s Vizix 2.0 print technology centers upon a new ink tank design with significantly higher yields and a new permanent thermal print head. As was the case with the previous Vizix platform, the new Vizix 2.0 devices use an on-axis ink tank design so the tanks move with the print head as it prints. http://www.smeinkjet.com/news.php?newsid=6

Choose the Correct Ink When Refilling Inkjet Cartridges to Provide the Highest Client Satisfaction

Posted on 24th Feb 2012 @ 1:48 PM There's nothing worse for your business than a client trying to print out something beautiful and then ending up with a washed out, bad print job. The example to the left is actually only one of the problems that can arise from using the wrong ink when refilling an ink cartridge. Other problems range from spatters to blank spots, from missing lines to bleed through in the worst cases. These are problems that all ink cartridge remanufacturers need to avoid.
Posted on 28th Feb 2012 @ 11:30 AM We all know it's true: business is 90% appearance and 10% substance. It's an ugly fact of the modern world, but it's a fact nonetheless. While we can all think of a contemporary figure or two who think that they don't need the facts to make decisions, the truth in any business is the truth of the marketplace. The current consumer is innundated with flashy looking things that are really no better than the competition. The current consumer leans toward the flashiness every time, though, and here is another little detail that can make all the difference.

Product Spotlight: Countertop Ink Cartridge Collection Box

Posted on 29th Feb 2012 @ 11:46 AM Before we get too deep into this, let me make a case for inkjet cartridge remanufacturing that cuts a little deeper than the price points. As a remanufacturer, I'm sure you're aware of the environmental benefits of your business, but your clients may not have the time to really think about this. This is a great conversation topic for potential clients who are still "on the fence" about the ink cartridge recycling circle.

Product Spotlight: SJ-27 Synthetic Oil for Sil-Air and Jun-Air Silent Air Compressors

Posted on 2nd Mar 2012 @ 12:51 PM Did you ever wonder what the oil in your silent air compressor is for? I always assumed it was something like motor oil in a car, where it was a lubricant for moving mechanical parts. It turns out that that is the case, but the way it really works is as a seal and filter in the actual compression mechanism. Whether it's a rotating impeller, a piston, or a pair of screws, the oil coats the path that the air travels through and ensures high efficiency compression.

Product Spotlight: Chip Resetters

Posted on 5th Mar 2012 @ 5:08 PM The OEMs in the imaging industry do what they can to hold remanufacturers back. The remanufactured ink cartridge is quickly becoming the standard printer consumable for offices and imaging professionals alike. Over the years, the remanufacturing industry has faced threats of lawsuits, scare tactics involving printer warranties, and one major pain: the smart chip. While smart chips are awesome in theory, they are a bit of a hurdle to the refilling process.
