Vertices/Nodes: where two separate lines meet. Edge/Arcs: lines that join up vertices/nodes. Degree/Order/Valency: number of edges connected to a vertex. Loop: an arc beginning and ending one the same vertex.

Simple graph: A graph with no loops, no multiple edges and every vertex is connected. Connected graph: A graph where all the points are connected. Tree: connected graph with no cycles Matching. A Level C1/2/3/4, D1/2, FP1/2/3/4, M1/2/3/4/5/6, S1/2/3/4/5/6.
