A unique installation designed by Lily Jencks / Nat Dorent using Marazzi’s SistemN tiles.42 Chalcot Road, London, NW1 8LS020 7736 7468 Capitol Designer Studio (CDS) has commissioned Lily Jencks and Nathanael Dorent to create a pop-up installation in Primrose Hill to show people just what’s possible using a porcelain tile. Mark Williams, London Sales Director at CDS said: “Lily Jencks is the most creative person I have ever met.
Her understanding of space and form are truly enlightening. The SistemN tile is a beautiful, but very simple, understated product. I thought that if we put the two together, we could produce something unique.” He was right. Lily explains that there are two ideas within the installation: “One is about perception - how you perceive distances and shapes; and make sense of space. Artisan Bread Maker- Baker D. Mesmerizing Marker Installations by Heike Weber. If you liked the marker-drawn murals by Charlotte Mann as a way to decorate your room, you’ll also love this like-minded German artist Heike Weber. Based in Cologne, she uses permanent markers to create mesmerizing floor and wall drawings which sometimes cover up to 5000 square ft. By carefully planning and controlling the white spaces between each line, Heike gives her drawings a 3D feeling. The space around the viewer may seem to be constantly swirling and floating, and you might find yourself losing the ground under your feet.
This is probably why one of her latest installations in a cafe in Prague is called ‘bodenlos’ which means “bottomless”. Besides her meticulous marker drawings, Heike also applies various linear techniques to her paper works and also does photography, sculpture and object creation.
Piękne wnętrza mieszkania to efekt tchnięcia nowego życia w kolekcję małżeństwa, składającą się z rodzinnych pamiątek, mebli zastanych w fabryce, pozornie bezwartościowych rupieci znalezionych podczas sesji zdjęciowej w plenerze.

Shrouded House is a discreetly opulent residence for a young, design-aware family of four (plus a Labrador retriever) in Toorak, considered the most prestigious neighbourhood in Melbourne, Australia. Inarc Architects was in charge of the architecture and interiors of the project, completed in February, with Allison Pye Interiors consulting on the interior design and furnishings.
The 13-room residence consists of the 850 square-meter (9,150 sq. ft) main house plus the 300 square-meter (3,330 sq. ft) basement, and the 70 square-meter (753 sq. ft) poolside cabana. The previous house and the earlier landscaping on the site were demolished. The new landscaping replaces most of the removed trees, and responds to the needs of the new house and its residents. The project gained its moniker Shrouded House from the main feature: the effective screening of the slightly twisting and turning exterior from the adjoining properties and the street by bronze aluminum battens.
