(Via MTV Geek) Oxford grooming: Girl Three's story - FrontMotion Firefox. For day after day, the Oxford women traded and trafficked by a gang of men - to be raped by them and others - gave evidence from the witness box of Court Eight of the Old Bailey. Girl Three had been so effectively groomed and controlled that even now she sometimes struggles to see the bad in the men who orchestrated her ordeal. She endured three years of their abuse - and then, five years after it ended, she relived it all at trial.
"It was brainwashing," she says. "Even to this day I can almost say, 'They were OK.' It's delusional. They turned me against my mum. Girl Three was almost 13 years old when she first met the Oxford men who would later be convicted of taking control of her life. Like some of the other victims, she had experienced abuse as a child and had been taken into care. And that meant she was easy prey for the men seeking girls to control. "I was just looking for attention and seemed to get it from him," she says. "I was getting addicted... and Karrar knew," she says.

Here are five of the best theories | Radio Times - FrontMotion Firefox. According to the Doctor in last week’s Nightmare in Silver, she’s “the impossible girl. A mystery wrapped in an enigma, squeezed into a skirt that's just a little bit too tight.” But beyond that, just who is Jenna-Louise Coleman's Clara Oswin Oswald? Since her first wise-cracking, bi-sexual pepper-pot appearance – and death – in Asylum of the Daleks, the new companion’s habit of popping up at different points in time, and dying, has proved to be just as perplexing as the identity of River Song before her.
Answers are in sight, however. Series seven finale The Name of the Doctor not only promises to reveal the Time Lord’s greatest secret, but also the true identity of Clara. And whilst an error might have already leaked her identity ahead of time, theories – of which the internet is particularly full – are far more fun than spoilers. She’s the Doctor (or Doctor Who itself) FleetStreetFox on Angelina Jolie's mastectomy: Why everyone at risk of breast cancer deserves the same treatment as the Hollywood star - Fleet Street Fox - Mirror Online - FrontMotion Firefox. There are plenty of reasons to dislike Angelina Jolie. The fact she looks like she hasn’t eaten cake or smiled since the early 1990s, the way her leg’s all wonky, the fact she insisted on giving birth in the middle of nowhere in Namibia. Personally I still haven’t forgiven her for Brad Pitt. Cow. But when a woman volunteers to have her breasts removed she deserves a nod of support. When she writes about it to help other women realise it’s not the worst that could happen, it should get a round of applause. And when the woman in question has a job based on beauty, in a society obsessed with boobs and almost every female is rated according to whether men would like to sleep with them, she merits a standing ovation and some kind of medal.
I can’t think of any other film stars who’ve saved thousands of lives when they’re not pretending to be someone else. Most women, faced with those odds, would opt for the cut. Except that it isn’t. The treatment still has its brutal moments. Cycling for women | Sustrans - FrontMotion Firefox. Whedon's S.H.I.E.L.D. series: 1st trailer, viral clips, ID cards | Blastr - FrontMotion Firefox. The first trailer for Joss Whedon’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series has finally arrived, and it looks like they’ll be packing more than enough of that patented Marvel magic to make it work. Explosions? Check. Heroes? Check. Tantalizing teasers of connections to The Avengers? Double check. With Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) at the center, we get a chance to see the team in action and a peek at the (noticeably high) production values we can expect in the pilot this fall.
No major surprises, but it’s still nice to finally see the thesis statement Whedon is building the series around. Along with the above trailer, the network has also rolled out some viral content that hints at one of the major arcs from the series: a group called Rising Tide, which has tasked itself with investigating all these superheroic shenanigans. To show off the cast, Marvel has also dropped some S.H.I.E.L.D. identification cards listing specialities and basic info. Rhys Priestland 'devastated' by fresh injury set-back - FrontMotion Firefox. 14 May 2013 Last updated at 06:40 GMT Rhys Priestland has described the recurrence of his Achilles injury as a "devastating blow" and insisted he did not rush his comeback. The Scarlets fly-half had returned sooner than expected after rupturing his Achilles tendon in December.

Chris Hadfield and fellow astronauts return from ISS - FrontMotion Firefox. A Soyuz space capsule carrying a three-man crew from the International Space Station (ISS) has returned to Earth.
Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, Nasa's Tom Marshburn and Russian Roman Romanenko landed safely in Kazakhstan. Mr Hadfield kept hundreds of thousands of Twitter followers informed and entertained during his five months in space with pictures and even a song. At the weekend, Mr Marshburn and fellow US astronaut Chris Cassidy conducted a spacewalk to fix an ammonia leak. The two men replaced a suspect coolant pump, apparently stopping the leak. Engineers will monitor the system to make sure there are no additional problems for the three astronauts remaining on the ISS, along with the three others who will arrive on 28 May. The Soyuz capsule carrying the three departing astronauts landed about 150km (90 miles) south-east of the town of Zhezkazgan in central Kazakhstan at 08:31 (02:31 GMT) on Tuesday.
