Training in extreme heat can be dangerous if you don't take the proper precautions - and sometimes even when you do. I recently suffered a fairly serious bout of heat exhaustion and dehydration (more on that in a future post) and and it seemed like a good time to dig up some great heat tips I got last year from ultrarunner Scott Jurek and to share some new tips I got recently from Runner's World shoes and geart editor Jeff Dengate, who has run 17 marathons.
