Ipnos Flos nasce dall’idea di sottrarre tutti gli elementi superflui fino ad estremizzarsi al solo perimetro, che di fatto nasconde le sorgenti luminose a LED. La lampada Ipnos Flos è quindi costituita da uno scheletro leggerissimo, fatto di sottili asticelle perimeterali in alluminio anodizzato, da cui promana una luminosità diffusa, in modo tale che dal buio emergano solo quelle pure linee di luce, lasciando vuoto lo spazio all’interno della lampada.
La lampada Ipnos Flos è disponibile in tre finiture, sia nella versione per interni che nella versione per esterni: anodizzato naturale, anodizzato nero, anodizzato bronzo. ”Sottraendo alla lanterna tradizionale gli elementi non più indispensabili è rimasta una semplice struttura metallica, supporto di invisibili sorgenti luminose. Neufs d’entre elles dirigent des boutiques où s’exprime l’art de vivre rue Auguste Comte à Lyon. Leur consœur, Patricia Lasserre, est à la tête d’une école d’architecture d’intérieur : l’Institut Créad. Elles sont passionnées, dynamiques, créatives et elle se mobilisent pour promouvoir le design.
Curieuses, chineuses, toujours à l’affût des dernières tendances, elles ont imaginé, avec des designers, des scénographies où les couleurs, les matières, les styles, les objets se confrontent dans une étonnante harmonie. La couleur… elle est omniprésente dans ce projet dont nous avons découvert les planches et esquisses. Elle sera « primaire » en faisant appel à nos « instincts » chez Hyggelic .

Marc Newson collaborated with Hermès artistic director Pierre-Alexis Dumas to design the brand's first pen, which twists to reveal the nib. "Designing this pen was no simpler or more complicated that conceiving the inside of an aeroplane," said Newson.
"The main constraint was having to fit a complex rotating mechanism into a very small space. " Made from aluminium and stainless steel, the pen is opened and closed by turning the body. "There's nothing technological about its appearance," said Newson. "It looks easy obvious, instinctual. But it's hiding a mechanism that's part genius, part magic. The designers took inspiration from Galeria Melissa’s ‘We Are Flowers’ shoe collection by creating a three-dimensional lattice suspended from the ceiling. This was covered by over 20,000 translucent 'flowers' of different colours, and funnelled towards the ground at selected points in the gallery.
