Brain entrainment refers to the brainwave response to repetitive sensory stimulation, like pulses of sound or light. When the brain is given a constant rhythmic stimulus, the brain will entrain by synchronizing brainwaves to that stimulus. This is called a Frequency-Following Response (FFR). Brainwaves and sound frequencies are measured in Hertz (Hz). If we stimulate the brain with precise frequency beating or pulses, we can produce a FFR in the brain.
