DIY Double-Sided Earrings. Hi Lovelees! My heart literally stopped when I saw these Dior double pearl earrings. And when one of my favorite DIY blogs, A Pair & A Spare, posted a tutorial to make them, I dropped everything and started right away. Unfortunately, I didn't have the perfect size of pearl beads, and I was too impatient to wait to go to Michaels the next day. So I improvised! Materials: - 1 pair of pearl earrings - 2 rubber earring backs - 2 wooden cube beads - a CD - e6000 glue - sharp scissors - marker - optional: white acrylic paint and a thin paintbrush Instructions: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. And now you have pearl and iridescent double-sided earrings! Love, Rachelle @RachelleMLee @MakeYouLoveLee. Le.Fanciulle: DIY Braided Crop-Top. That's right - it's another t-shirt re-vamp DIY project! This time, it was inspired by the braided jumper seen on Hanneli's blog here.

As I didn't have any old jumpers to use at my disposal, I again raided my stash of American Apparel t-shirts (see my last DIY project for another way to cut up a shirt!). Go ahead - scroll down for some instructions on how to make this braided crop top! Things you'll need: A t-shirt to chop up, good fabric scissors, a sewing kit, and some permanent flexible fabric glue. Step 1: Mark out how short you'd like your crop-top to be and chop it! Step 2: Cut the part of the t-shirt you cut off into 1-inch-wide strips.

Step 3: Place and pin your braids where you'd like them to be, then start gluing them onto the shirt. Step 4: Finish the ends of each braid neatly by cutting and folding the ends in, then stitching them to the shirt securely. ... et voila! Don't forget to send us a picture of your takes on our DIY projects - we love seeing you try them out! Xx T. DIY Monogrammed Envelope Clutch | Popsicles & Pinatas. This is my first sewing DIY! Yes, I got a sewing machine. Finally! For years I have been avoiding sewing projects, unless there was some sort of no-sew work around. Our friend Jill is getting married so I made this case for her iPad so she can take it to all of her wedding appointments. I ended up with quite a bit of extra fabric, which I used to make a cute clutch for myself as well as another case for a friend’s iPad mini.

It was such an easy project (even for my VERY basic sewing skills) and it turned out really cute. What you will need to make this one Material – I used a vinyl pleather type in white you will need a piece 9 inches by 24 inches for this size A sewing machine with thread Two buttons Embroidery thread Paint – I used Martha Stewarts all-purpose paint in gold. Stencil for the monogram Step 1 – do some math or use these measurements (in inches) and cut out in cardstock.

Step 2 – trace the outline onto your fabric and cut it out. Step 8 – Stencil the monogram onto the font. DIY | beaded high heels » Something Turquoise {daily bridal inspiration} I can’t believe this is my last DIY post of 2011… what a fantastic year! This great DIY project is super easy and perfect for personalized bride shoes, bridesmaids shoes… or for New Years Eve!

This can even be done to cover up a heel gone bad… Pin Supplies: High heels preferably with a smooth heel area (mine are from Payless), enough “seed” type beads to cover the chosen area, my favorite glue E600, a paint brush that you are willing to throw away, a paper plate and a bowl. Start by pouring all your beads into a bowl and then putting a large amount of glue onto your paper plate. Next, very carefully paint a layer of glue onto the smooth part of the heel, I did only one half of the heel at a time. Try to make it as even as you can, this glue does not dry quickly so you have time to work with it. Take a small handful of beads and pour over the wet glue area until it is completely covered in beads. Gently pat the beads into the glue to secure them. That’s it! Topics - HelloGiggles. 4aces. Well, I think I’ve picked a bad time to become plant-obsessed, considering the fact that it’s winter and that two out of the three houseplants I’ve been dumb enough to order on Amazon this month have died. I keep researching vegetable gardens, even though I probably have months to go before I can even start anything. And no matter how many times I read that the best time to propagate plants is in the spring, I still have a little plastic bag-covered tupperware makeshift garden going strong (kind of) in front of our least cold window. I go through phases, and right now I just really like plants. I like getting ’70s plant books from the thrift stores (especially ones with puns in the title—my favorite is The Facts of Light), following gardening boards on Pinterest, and I especially like going to plant stores.

I also have a ton of airplants (well, 11?) Photos by Drew. Siouxie and the laces. Lady Moriarty. WhatsTrend Blog. Monki. A Beautiful Mess. Fellow Fellow. Fashion Breed. Hunter & Hare. C’est l’une des tendances graphique pour l’année 2009, une sorte de double revival : celui des années 50, à coup de pin-up et pub colorées, et celui des années 80, début du jeu vidéo et des effets lumineux dans le genre « Tron ».
